How could a Yorkie Possibly Accessorize?

Males especially look adorable in with a bandana.   I just returned from the fabric store where I purchased some fabric remnants.  You can cut some squares and make some adorable bandanas for your baby.  I even found some that were already set up as bandanas for .99 a yard (it makes 4 bandanas.  This give a nice finished look to your baby after a bath and cut.

Other accessories include a leather harness and rolled collar.  Don't forget an ID.  I love to buy mine from Suzanne on Ebay she goes by pawsome_xos.  She also has a website.  Her things can be a bit pricey but if you watch it on Ebay you can get some get deals and she has some really classy stuff and the leather is first rate.  These items are gorgeous.  You will want to wait until your puppy is old enough to know better than to chew on and destroy it.  You will be able to coordinate collar, leashes, harnesses and ID holders and any other item you can image and Suzanne is as nice as she can be.

The only purpose of the collar is to hold an ID.  You don't want to use it for a leash as Yorkies have very sensitive tracheas.  Read all about this on the pages about Diseases and Surgery.

Of course there is always shirts, dresses, hats, sweaters, booties, pearls, bows, and special holiday attire.  I will attempt to put some links here of some of my favorite place online to purchase these items.  In the past I have purchased from the charitable organizations like the United Yorkie Rescue, the Fannie Mae Liver Shunt Shoppe who had great hats the D made.  I love to buy items from places where I know my money goes for good causes.

D has a great site take a look   http://www.yorkiefantasy.com/

Merry does some cool stuff too http://www.doggonefashion.com

Our next step is to take a look at making our own bows so we don't have to pay those outrageous prices others charge to make them for us!

Lets check out the Make a Bow Page as soon as I get it together that is....be patient.
